INFOWAVE APPOINTS NEW SENIOR EXECUTIVES TO SALES
MANAGEMENT TEAM
Vancouver, British Columbia – June 25, 2003 –
Infowave Software (TSE: IW), a provider of wireless software for
mobile operators, corporations and individuals announced today the
appointments of William R. Winters as Executive Vice
President, Enterprise Solutions and Thomas M. Owen as Vice
President, Business Development. Together, Winters and Owen bring a
combined thirty four years of senior sales executive management
experience in the high technology industry.
William R. Winters is a twenty-year veteran of the telecommunications
and information technology industry, a wireless pioneer and former
CEO of Neomar, Inc., a provider of enterprise mobile infrastructure
software to wireless network providers and Fortune 1000 enterprises.
He has built and led several high technology companies and is
responsible for generating over $2 billion in combined revenues
during his career.
Prior to joining Neomar, Winters served as CEO of Fabrik, an
e-CRM and digital marketing firm, and grew the company from start-up
to $10 million in two years. He also held senior executive
positions, including Division President of the Internet and New
Media Business Unit, at Electronic Data Systems Corp (EDS) during
his eleven-year tenure. Before EDS, Winters also served at Cable
& Wireless PLC and Harris Corporation.

Tom Owen is an empowering leader who brings twelve years senior
business development experience in the high technology industry to
Infowave. Tom is former Vice President of Strategic Development at
Neomar and has extensive experience building strategic partnerships,
particularly with mobile operators and wireless device
manufacturers.
Prior to Neomar, Tom was Senior Director of Business Development
at Pocket.com, a company that specializes in providing B2B2C
information solutions over wireless platforms. He has also held
senior management positions at ProxiNet, Inc. (acquired by Puma
Technologies), Enlighten Software Solutions, Inc., WebLogic, Inc.
(acquired by BEA Systems), and Verity, Inc.
